Our trip to the pyramids by Charlie Dutton
Year 11 Geography students took 2 day trips out to the pyramids at the start of November. The classes visited Giza, Sakara and Dashur pyramids, looking at how the pyramids could be managed sustainably. So on we went, looking for tourists to nag with our questionnaires at hand and witnessing and taking pictures of hassle, litter and other problems associated with tourism. Our bus got stuck, and we got turned down by many a tourist; yet the whole trip turned out to be a great success. If we could do it again every Sunday and Monday, we would! Now all we have to do is the coursework. Dammit!
