NEW SPECIES IN NEW CAIRO!

For the past half term Year 8 pupils have been learning about what it is like in the tropical rainforest. They have learned about where they are located, what the climate is like there and how animals and plants adapt to the hot and wet environment.

Last week 8JM were given the task of sorting through a number of animal adaptations and deciding which ones would apply to a creature that might live in the rainforest. They then designed their own NEW SPECIES based on these adaptations.

Here is one fantastic design of the new species 'Lynxdotrous' by Chantal Svensson in Year 8.

And here is Mr Golding's leafy display showing the fantastic work that 8JM produced. Well done 8JM!
